  • Life Line Ambulance was founded in 1956 and was affiliated with a Prescott funeral home.  The company used a converted hearse as its first ambulance.
     
  • Life Line is the largest privately owned ambulance company in Northern Arizona.
     
  • The company currently employs a staff of nearly 200 dedicated professionals, including paramedics, basic emergency medical technicians, certified emergency medical dispatchers, registered nurses, along with human resource, support services, certified billing personnel, accounting and fleet maintenance.
     
  • Life Line has 30 ambulances, including a Critical Care Unit.  The company also deploys two specially built and equipped mountain bikes which are deployed at large, crowed events where ambulance access is difficult.
     
  • Life Line Ambulance serves more than 9,000 square miles or Northern Arizona, an area larger than the state of New Jersey, from 11 strategically placed stations.
     
  • The service area is comprised of primarily rural, mountainous countryside with low population densities.  There are also urban centers within the service area.  These are;  Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley, Wickenburg, Bagdad and Williams.  Life Line provides services in three counties; parts of Yavapai, Coconino and Maricopa.
     
  • Life Line utilizes the latest technologies to integrate well with its current systems and build on each other.  These technologies include Electronic Patient Care Reports (ePCR), which was deployed in 2008, electric gurneys, automated vehicle location systems (AVL), geographic informational systems (GIS), electronic patient care reports (EPCRs) DriveCam and AmbuTRAK.  All these technologies, in combination with Life Line Ambulance’s dedicated team members help deliver exceptional customer service.
     
  • Life Line Ambulance is an American Heart Association Certified Training Center.  In this role, the company offers life saving CPR and first aid classes to the community in general and to health care providers, specifically from its facilities in Prescott, Prescott Valley and Wickenburg.
     
  • The company and its team members are dedicated to supporting the communities in which they live and work.  Life Line provides stand-by ambulance service to numerous nonprofit events.  Life Line team members volunteer for career days, emergency drills and charity walks, among many other activities.
